Trot

Trot is a special filter module, designed based on the Ultrasound filters from Ciat Rollz5; the circuit has been updated, and what makes Trot special is its strong self-excitation and the fact that it can be pinged

Cutoff In 1 & 2

It consists of two filter sections, left and right, with two CV inputs and two knobs controlling the cutoff of filter 1 and filter 2 respectively. The two cutoffs interact—adjusting filter 1 also affects filter 2, especially under self-excitation.

The Ultrasound filter is used as a drum source in Rollz5, and Trot works the same way. Send a trig into Audio In 9 or Audio In 8 and you get a drum sound at Audio Out 5 or Audio Out 10, shapeable with the knobs and CV.

Audio In 1 & 2

With nothing patched into the audio inputs, self-excitation gives a very grumpy output at the audio outs. Patch Audio Out 9 into Audio In 8 for an enhanced grumpy output at Audio Out 10—and vice versa.

Switch

Filters 5 and 8 each have a selection switch next to the output; the switch position changes how strongly the section self-excites.

Tips!

* Trot can also be used for filtering—the filtering is distorted, and the sound is very special!
